December brought some wicked weather to the Las Vegas valley and surrounding areas. It was so bad that the kids had a snow day and the airport shut down. The Clark County school district had not had a snow day in over 20 years. The kids had a blast playing in the snow and everything around us looked sooo beautiful blanketed in snow. Cameron was the only one who was unhappy as you can tell from the photo. He felt like the little boy in "The Christmas Story" he couldn't move very well in his snowsuit. We loved what little snow we had for a few short days!!!

Most of the world thinks we are wimps because we had a snow day and no school. But I think the kids loved it.
Snow in some places are 5 feet and more, so we are kinda unique.
Cute! It was so fun to have snow! Samantha loved it too! And of course Jonathan was glad he didn't have to go to school...
i still can't believe there was snow in vegas! that's crazy talk!:)
